Description

I'm really not too sure what to say here. This was just me playing around, really. I started with the Northern Soul set from Caisson at RDNA, and it just sort of took shape from there. No humans or humanoids in this one. :) Just landscape and animals. It's a loosely based RP render, but I'm not going to get into the how or why of that here. There was some very limited postwork - mostly color and gamma/lighting correction, the frame, my signature, and a tiny bit of the fog was postworked (though the majority of the fog was rendered via Jepe's smoke props again - I just touched it up a little bit in postwork). This is a little something different from me. It's nice to be able to just play once in a while. I was taking a break from Luna's beach set textures, and opened up the new toy, and then the rest of this just sort of came pouring out... Full view is HIGHLY recommended. ------------------- Terrain : Northern Soul (Caisson, RDNA) Trees/Plants : Northern Soul (RDNA), and then a mix of the following vendors : Flink, Predatron, Alessandro AM, Andrey, Faveral, Traveler... I'm sure I'm forgetting some, sorry!! Songbird Remix : Ken's birds, Hivewire - the bald eagle, and the two red-tailed hawks Elk : Lyne's free elk model. Moose : Alessandro AM Wolf : Alessandro AM Red Fox : Alessandro AM Racoon : Alessandro AM Squirrel : Daz Fog : Jepe's SteamZ props (a very little of it was postworked, though) Lighting : Started with one of Predatron's lights, and I tweaked it from there in the render, and then a little further in postwork. Rendered in 3Delight, DS 4.7, some postwork in Corel Photopaint x7

Very nice, and after seeing this, I assume the Northern soul landscape props can work in Studio, good to know :)

Yes! They work quite well in DS 4.7 and 3Delight. I also was using one of the occlusion lights from Predatron's Essential Lights package in this as well. I had no problems at all with the set. Normally I expect to have to make shader/material alterations when I use a Poser product in DS. I did not need to do that here at all. It is a memory intensive set if you load too much into the scene at once.I would definitely recommend only loading the parts that will be visible in your render frame, because of that. But from my "new toy" render experience with that terrain, it works very nicely in Studio!
