Hello friends,
some days are gone and it is high time to show some more faces and people from Berlin.
In my opinion the things that were happen beside events like this are very interesting, too. Maybe they are more interesting as the main event itsself....

A very difficult question! We have groups here who change their outfit every jear, for example the Berlin formation "Drum Kitchen" Other groups are reprensentavive for their countries and show their special cultures. They get partnership and maybe money from their embassies, maybe South Korea. Some groups are only cultural organisations and show their typical "native" clothing and symbols. The african people have two strong groups here in Berlin, one from Kamerun in the north, another strong section comes from Angola in the south. Many of use masks we can describe as "heavy armour" with strong expressions - I am sure they have a strong "tribal" meaning. But I don´t know what the special meaning is. Pic here is from the Carnival of Cultures 2013. I detected it a few minutes ago when I did the second one of this moment.
