... this particular tree, which will most likely be cut and tossed aside as trash, :( is 32 inches in diameter. According to the formula at the referenced web site, this particular tree is 16 / .05 years of age (320 years old...)
A smaller version close by measures 24 inches in diameter, so it clicks in at 12 / .05 (240 years). It too will be destroyed.
No judgement......... merely an observance of progress.

It's really a shame these old sentinels have to be destroyed to make room for "progress." If you can call it that... Most likely another Quick Trip or McDonald's... Great capture!

thx for viewing, Rod. It's another office building... the population is anticipated to double here in the next forty years, so we need more empty office space... just to be sure.
