I have seen wrecked vehicles before along side a rail crossing, trying to get people's attention of the dangers trying to beat trains. I took this in Nebraska

What a drastic measure to alert people to the danger. There are also frequent accidents at level crossings here. Perhaps they should place also such scrap cars as a warning. Excellent and interesting find and capture.

Never could understand the logic behind trying to beat a train... Pickup truck = 2 tons. Train = several hundred tons. It doesn't take much math to figure out who's gonna lose in a collision. Cool shot, Richard.

I think it's a great idea, but over here the police are now saying that any roadside memorial is a distraction to drivers. They are even trying to ban flowers and crosses by the side of the road................
