A piece of Africa - a cheetah in its natural and wild habitat in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park to say thank you to all my dear friends who have uploaded dedications for my birthday and all the birthday I wishes I got from everyone!

Happy Birthday! May you get loads of well wishes and presents! Do you know that cheetahs can be tamed (somewhat) and that there are cheetah races in South Africa. I've seen some on YouTube - absolutely fascinating. And the cheetah's are like purring house cats. I think they really enjoy the chance to run at top speed. Check it out and enjoy! :-)

Well is this a proud performance of the cheetah, as if its the king in his domain. And it seems I discover his prey on the right, or it's my imagination because he looks so satisfied. Great to hear you enjoyed your birthday, Carin!

This Cheetah sitting there just like royalty - very much aware of his surrounds and totally in control, simply breathtaking ! always ready to run, jump, pounce or even attack, if and when necessary - the life of a wild animal ...
