You're a wee bit late, Mike ... the Cayenne came out in 2002 ... and sells like crazy! Does it make sense? I don't think so, i wouldn't want to drive an SUV, but if you'd give me a Cayenne Turbo, i think i'd take it 8=))

BTW - There used to be an element of Harley motorcycle riders who would lord it over all other riders because they, and only they, rode true American iron. Some would even refuse to talk to other non-Harley riders. They've softened their attitude since Harley began using (wait for it).........Porsche carburetors.

They've been out for a while actually and they're supposed to be quite good (which should go without saying for the brand and especially price tag). I still agree that it's not exactly what you'd expect to see....

yeah, they have been out for quite a while. a high performance model is very fast, but is bucket loads expensive

Fiat Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo told a group of journalists in Maranello yesterday that Maserati plans to introduce a sporty crossover wagon as the first collaboration with Fiat Group bedmate, Alfa Romeo. While the new car may share some characteristics of Maserati's Giugiaro-designed Kubang crossover concept (pictured) — shown at the Detroit NAIS show in 2003 — it may take on a new look, considering Alfa will be providing the design. Still, it'll be the first product of a new strategy by Fiat Group to align Maserati and Alfa in a loveknot of architectures, parts and sales networks. And, yes, we'll likely see it in the states.
