BIOI first got into 3D back in 1996 with a free copy of Imagine. I continued to use Imagine for my modeling projects up until early 2003. Support for the product has now died leaving it several years behind the rest of the market. I have now started to learn Max and I constantly wonder why it took me so long to make the change.
Primarily I focus on modeling. Over time I will learn to texture and animate my objects but at present I am very happy just modeling. If you are interested in texturing any of my objects send me a mail and I will probably send them through to you.
I am also the founder and webmaster of Gallery of 3D.com. (http://www.galleryof3d.com). G3D is a massive 3D Gallery for artists of all levels. Currently there are over 750 artists listed and over 5000 pieces of individual artwork.

Nice work. Did you use the slice function for some parts ?
BlackGas
No, just built straight from points. Tend not to ever use primitives or anything, just model straight from points. I don't like using the slice fucntion, works ok most of the time but it never leaves a clean mesh. I am not too keen on my objects having irregular face sizes all over them. :)

Very impressive, and also nice to see other ppl who like to work in point-level :)

Edges don't look too sharp to me. Great model making skills. I wouldn't know where to begin on an object like this if it needed to be continuous mesh. (All my models have odd shaped polygons!)

You have a real talent there my friend, love all the fiddly bits, tho in all honesty, don't it make you a tad loopy...lol...have done a bit of modelling like that and am not fit company for humans for a while after...heh heh heh
BlackGas
It's the only way to work HP :) I am not fit company for humans at any time let alone when modeling.

Great modelwork, would love to see a closeup of coreners and edges to see, even in line mode to se the vertices would be great. You are very good at modeling stuff.

When finished there will be a few smaller pictures inset, wireframe etc. Also model will be free for download.
