Description

Years ago I was walking through a nearby stream on a warm summer day taking pictures. I pointed the camera down at an interesting rock formation under the swift flowing water. The moving water makes it a bit blurry but the red rocks catch my eye. The stream is about 12 to 18 inches deep at this point but the water is clear. I increased the sharpness and contrast a bit in photoshop. That's when I notice the two mushroom like objects, can you see them? They are embedded in the surrounding rock and a part of the formation. A fossil maybe? Or alien creatures? Or just an illusion of light and erosion? I'm not sure, but fun to find in a photo I took years ago and forgot about... ;)

That's pretty cool. I'll go with alien zombie mushroom people live in that stream.

I see them, but can't say what they may be.... :-P I'm in the middle of a project to scan all my 35mm negatives.... So far, 17 DVD-DL volumes at around 8 gigs each (scanning @ 4800 DPI - you can actually see the film grain). So I know what you mean - I'm (re)discovering all kinds of wonderful memories!

The word fossil got my attention, but I can't see the "mushroom" rocks. The red ones look like jasper.....totally cool!

That is an interesting formation. Cool photo. I think I see what you mean about the two mushroom shapes in the central upper left and central lower right. Another trick, I'm sure is the large form in the lower right that looks like a big chunk of gold! Great capture.
