Description
Love the Boudoir Photo Studio set by Predatron at DAZ. I added a couple of light flare overlays from the Flora Bella collection.
I rendered the image at a huge size and consequently it took over 3 hrs. There were some artefacts, I guess you could call them, repeating bars of shadow across her skin on her arms and chest -- looked like a mini blind shadow or something. I actually smudged them out and at the small size you really can't see them, but at full resolution you can. I'd like to know what causes that.

Wonderful image. Presentation and staging are right on. As for the banding, I will say at lower light levels V4 and earlier models tend to show their imperfections in their basic mesh form. Tweaking the lighting and changing the pose or position can help but can be a pain in the backside. I just picked up V7 and I hope this will cure a lot of problems inherent in the older versions!!!

Thank you for your comments Greywolf44. I'm playing around with it now and following your suggestions, I bumped up the ambient light a little. I think it may have helped the problem. About to try a full size render to test the theory :-)

Wonderful atmosphere and lighting effect ( also if not seems made by lamps in the scene) the pose and the expression of the model are beautiful and the composition very very well done!!!!!! I like very very much this your image !!!

Thank you giulband. The lighting is a three point light set with environmental light as well. I turned off the spots in the lamp props as they didn't play nicely with the scene lighting, lol.
