Oh, the memories that are coming out in seeing this plant! I hadn't seen one since I was a little girl, when I was spending the summers with my aunt in the town of my grandma... My aunt used to bring in our room bunches of that 'pianta moneta' (I think the correct name was a transation of "judaspenning", but my aunt purposedly always omitted the 'judas' part). Then she used to hang the plants in the windows to dry... So to me they bring the feeling of the fading of summer, as well as the memory of dear people who are no more... For some reason it's not a sad feeling, just a little bittersweet... :-)
