Description

The other night, me and Merlin found this little hedgehog eating the sultanas I put out for the blackbirds right by my back door. I was so excited I couldn't get the card into my camera quick enough without shaking. Merlin was obviously used to seeing it in the garden and the hedgehog wasn't bothered, so next night I put tiny pieces of cheese with the fruit, and another dish of water. Now it was the hedgehog's turn to be excited - it gobbled the cheese first, then fruit then a drink and then I watched where it went - I could see foliage moving as it went into the wild part of my garden and under a pile of logs and stuff. Now I can't wait for tonight to see it again. It would be wonderful if there were babies.
