Description

June is a month of lots of green growth and as you can see from the long shots there is not a huge amount of colour.....until you get close! So this time I have chosen to show some of the flowers closer up. I may do another with just roses.

What a treat to see! I think it is Cornus kousa with the single whitish/green flower? Striking in it's simplicity. The Crinodendron red lanterns always a delight! You have dragons and damsels on roses and osteospermums. You should have guests paying to photograph your wildlife alone never mind the floral collections. I look forward to this monthly calendar of fauna and flora, always you have surprises!

Wow! Your garden in all its glory! What a lot of work this must be - you sure have a garden to be proud of, Andrea. I hope your town has a "yard of the month" club and that you have been given the honor... you deserve it!! So nice to see Fritz taking a stroll, and is that dogwood at the top? I didn't know it grew there!
