Yes, this colour combo is really lovely; we have lots of dahlias around up here, both in public plantings and in private gardens; I guess they like the climate, although I'd question that this year, as hot and record-breakingly dry as it's been so far. I'm looking forward to blooming time soon! Fantastic capture, Harry.

They are so lovely and it is a shame we dont see them so often anymore. Here neither. I think people forget to dig up the tubers in the autumn and so... next year, NO Dalia. They have to be planted over again every spring. Ok somewhere it might not be necessary to dig them up as the winter wont have frost, but I dont know how much heat they can take, then. I just know, that this is a mighty lovely shot, Harry.
