Description

The only reason I have this in the Fantasy section is due to the Roanmara dress from WildDesigns that I'm using. It went on sale and I've always loved the look of it, so I couldn't resist it any more and just had to have it. The fact that it was a G2F dress was actually a selling point as well. Why? I wanted to test G3F and G1 with it. Being a G2F dress, it gave me that opportunity. So, how does she fair? She's the on in the middle. G2F is on the left and G1 is on the right. The dress looks fine on G1, but the necklace is kinda wonky. I used the body suit (tight) to map it to G1 and G3F to keep the similarities as close as possible. It looks lovely on G3F. I had tp play with the SSS on the Jeane texture for G3F. The Jeane texture comes free with the G3F, which is also free ( Yay! ). But if you render it in 3Delight, she has a tan that looks like she lives outdoors. Yikes. So, I played with the SSS, mainly the SSS strength ( from 75% to 200% ) and the RGB absortion values. Actually, I didn't have to play with the blue, just the green (.040) and red (.040). Now her skin looks normal. I saved the material so I could have the changes for later. By just looking at the Genesis base models, G3F is pretty stunning really. That's not to say we couldn't make the others look just as good, but out of the box, no morphs or INJ, G3F looks good... dang good. No idea why the basic G2F eye (Bree) is doing what it's doing. Kinda creepy, but she wasn't the point of this exercise, just a comparison model really. Now, if they could just find a way for me to use all my V4 and G1 gear on her. I guess I'll save that for a future project. WildDesigns, thanks for the Roanmara dress. Now, if I can just figure out what model she used for the promo image.
