Description

(Following a good suggestion by g1tip I just added another postwork cycle: hope that previous commentators don't mind.) Slowly getting the hang of postworking in Corel Photo Paint. I like the result - do you? Comments & suggestions most welcome.

Thanks radioham: plain out of the box outfit Sinful Nights available at DAZ For G2F, the trick is to find the trenchcoat, which does not show in the product summary.

Thank you, guilband. Once you know, how to do it, it's dead simple. Don't know if this works similar in gimp or ps, but have a look here: http://www.danrichard.com/2010/06/29/new-tutorial-converting-a-color-photo-to-a-scratchy-black-and-white-or-sepia-in-corel-photopaint/

I like this image a lot. The pose, outfit and background really work well together !!! I also like the sepia tone effect. However, sometimes in monochromatic images the subject can get a little lost in the background. Applying an "auto contrast" (in Photoshop, not familiar with Photo-Paint) will bring out the highlights in the brick wall while still preserving the shadows and it will pop your model right out of the background by giving her a little more detail. Try this technique and let me know what you think. I give this image a 5+++++ !!!
