Description

the dam stands 455 feet(140 meters) and extends below the river bottom another 47 feet(14 meters) where it is anchored in bedrock. One million cubic yards(765 cubic meters) of concrete was used to build the dam and power plant

B E A U T Y The man-made art-work :) But, a dam has a limited life of about 1 century, I wonder how much it costed going to repair or replace the 4,000 to 5,000 dams in North America? (Canada-U.S.A.) ?? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
