... usually considered a tropical plant, they winter over as a perennial.
This shade of red is nice, and Japanese beetles have not been a problem... they seem to prefer yellow.

A gorgeous shot, my friend! I remember having these in the garden in one of the places we lived. they are lovely flowers.
