Although I'm not an insect person I must confess that your photos have awakened a respect for the vast numbers of different insects there are on this planet. And then only looking at your fantastic photos of moths, their wing patterns and colors are phenomenal. Their wing shape reminds me of modern day fighter planes, yet the moths are slow. But their wing's size suggest an enormous carrying capacity. I'm also impressed with your ability to photograph them without them flying away as you approach. Keep up the good work! :-)

I don't think that replies on this site go anywhere but I like to say thanks very much for your kind comments.. I'm always quite amazed what turns up as some of these are so small it is difficult to see what their colors or designs are until I enlarge them in Photoshop...
