LAGERSTROEMIA INDICA (or MIRTO CRESPO in Italian Language) is a species belonging to the genus "Lagerstroemia (Lytracenae family) is a deciduous shrub or small tree native to China, Korea and Japan and all over the Indian subcontinent cultivated especially for its flowering. Very nice and interesting shot Richardphotos!

I have always wanted one of these. We call them summer lilac, although the color is no where near lilac. LOL I never did get one, and now have way too much shade to plant one. This is beautiful!!!
