BobbyStahr aka Robert Purves was seduced into computers late in life(age 45) by a free Amiga 1000 that I needed to transcribe music with. When that was done one thing led to another and 18 months later due to a need for speed and Imagine porting over I jumped to a pc. Never looked back happy to say. I play no games, have no business software, just art and music. BIO I use Imagine a lot, Photoshop quite a bit, Vue6I PLE a bit also, and have played a bit with the free ver. of Cinema4D, and am recently enamored of the new TG 3 Free. I also write copious amounts of music in an awesome and inexpensive music writing software called MelodyAssistant, available at http://www.myriad-online.com The hyphen is part of the URL. Highly reccomended to anyone, musician or not. I got into art from sports at an early age when I discovered I was more into cooperation than competition...my mission statement is" Never go straight.....Go Forward...."

Excellent work Bobby, nice composition and lighting. Can't quite understand why the rendering time was so long for a 1600*900.
bobbystahr
Thanks...well 5 area lights and 7 glass objects may give a clue. The area surrounding and including the table and contents took 16 hours all by itself. Was the last area to finish rendering.

Pretty cool room. I would make that back wall all doors that open to allow the entire opening walk out space!! Easy with a engineered header. I do this for my work!! Thanks for the visit to my last images. Good to see you still hangin in there.!

Thanks man..it was a benchmark scene for testing my new confuser or I may have opened the doors. Heh heh heh I re tired but just go faster on these new tires so I imaginge you'll continue to see periodic renders from me and comments whenever you post a one of your cool captures.

I'm a wee bit late seeing your pic, but I do like the composition and the use of colour to direct the eye. The white areas serve to direct the eyes, but everything is interesting and often poses questions which is no bad thing.
