There are so many details I like about this image, including the colors and composition. My favorite part is the texture in the sand, with water in some places.

'Woetra'....an Intelligent interstellar ship mind......in one of the 'Culture' SciFi books by Ian (M.) Banks....a great author ( Arthur C Clarke award) who sadly passed away June 9th 2013...... Wonderful to see images from this world......Great shot! -ak
