Nice job conveying what the square formation was, Concentrated fire power in all directions, making it very difficult to break, and very effective against cavalry. Interestingly, the Romans had a similar arrangement. I wonder if the British square was based on the Roman equivalent. The only thing that could break a square was grape shot fired from cannon at ranges beyond the range of the infantry's guns. Good work! Keep it up! :-)
