Description

Captured back on 10/19/08, at a car show held in beautiful Santa Anita Park in beautiful Arcadia, California. The same model auto as yesterday's posting, but this one painted a delicious black. The bottom shot was a bit fuzzy, and was postworked up to acceptable standards as best I could. Can't win 'em all. Arrivederci.

A beauty, Harry, and it's almost a shiny matte black, if that's even possible. Wonderful shots!

with Denise, wonderful shots, and yes, you captured an almost shiny matte black. It has such a smoothness about it a beautfiul quality to the black. And in zoom, we can see the little dots of sunflare---a real trademark from you: On the top shot, for example, it's right by the door handle. (Ie, that little 'diamond' next to the handle.) Your pov's are, as always, masterful; and they reveal all we need to see of the car, given the impossibly squeezed conditions of car shows. (And, that you can't flatten out the car so we can see all its sides at once, lol.) I'm always amazed that you get space and sweep in such cloistered conditions...The 2d shot is stunning---those old high grills were killers: I assume there was a functional reason for them, but as design, they just hit you in the face. And you caught the gadgety feel of the wheel assembly next to the lights next to the body, etc. The last shot shows the matte feel of the chrome; and you caught tree shadows that look like someone rubbed some black paint into the trunk. And another revealing pov. A wonderful trio of car shots, with the middle shot as the "anchor" to the whole---that "full frontal" shot is quite imposing. Very fine work.
