Description

I mean the GOOD part of Summer :-) More of these lovely poppies. Have a beautiful rest of the sunday. Have been cleaning and harvesting 5-6 cucumbers from the green house. So i had to can 4 of them with vinagre, sugar and spices, just to preserve them. And then we have given severel to neighbors. :) Thanks for viewing and commenting :)

This is a beautiful mage Helle and we too have a glut of cucumbers which we are giving away but the taste is far better than those bought in the shops.

Wonderful view of your beautiful Denmark countryside. I too have been pickling my Cucumbers with Dill and onions. We call it Bread and Butter pickle and it is delicious.

Loverly tiers of blue, green and red in this spectacular shot of beautiful Denmark, Helle. Most of what I know about cucumbers is that is where pickles come from. Along with that, it is a very healthy and versatile vegetable. And, your storminess has subsided, so you can now enjoy the rest of summer.

Absolutely breathtaking; red poppies always seem so exotic to me, especially when they're growing in a field like this. The only ones that do that here are the golden California poppies, which are pretty amazing in themselves, but like anything you see all the time it's easy to take them for granted. A beautifully restful capture, I'd love to have this scene in front of my eyes all the time!
