Description
At the Yorkshire Wildlife Park they have a bachelor group of Giraffes. A couple are hybrids that will never be allowed to breed. They do have however pure bred Rothschild's Giraffes that will be in a breeding programme when they mature. I was watching the assistant who looks after them hoist fresh branches into the air and strap them down. I was watching from an elevated viewing platform. I noticed the backs of three individuals feeding together so took this shot. The middle one is the Rothschild!
