Terrific photo. I could not eat in there, though, too much signage.

Been there many times and its caught my eye as well. Actually I spent my honeymoon all around that area... Carmel, Monterey, SF, Napa..... I walk by this place going from the aquarium to the parking structure. Nice capture!

With the wide array of beautiful nature images you've posted, I feel remiss doing two architectural/interior images today, but I just had to do this. Your way with reds and golds and ambers (and, really, just about any color that inspires you) is always vivid at the least, and wholly alive, beyond that. Here it makes this interior glow like the interior of a lit oven. A very intense red glow. The right-side-wall is beautifully alit in red, the lines of the ceiling are lit as if those lines were burning embers, you have reds in the left most lines and on the bottom of the window---shapes we can't be sure of (newspapers? purses? printed material?), but which have a presence all their own because of the red. And of course the neon signs---what Jean Shepherd called "Beer Art". (If you never saw his old, old show in the 70s, I think, "Jean Shepherd's America," it's worth seeing some episodes, if you can find it anywhere in the universe. He did a whole show on beer; and his montages of "beer art"---these neon signs---was poetic and well worth the sit.) You did all the hues proud, with your deep saturated presence. And the silhouette of that woman in the left half is perfect---all we need to feel humanly rooted in the shot. (You have some people on the right, too---one aglow with that deep red.) This is wonderful. Masterful. I've been very taken with all you've posted since I've been gone, and I hope to do it all much more justice soon. And btw, there's even an "Old Chicago" sign here: Nice to see my hometown represented...
