A beautiful shot. It was a sad day when they retired these.

I met one of the two pilots for Braniff that was qualified to fly the Concorde. he was a volunteer at the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Love Field, Dallas. there is a competition plane that he built and won countless aerial meets. I think it is still there on display. great overhead capture Sig

Excellent shot Sig. I once had a pleasure flight in one, it cost me £200 at the time but it was well worth it.

Did you take this impressive capture at the Royal Air Force museum in England? I was also lucky to see one of the Concorde-s there ten years ago, and was very much impressed by the inside as much as by the extraordinary fuselage of this wonder. A superb photo, Sig !

The engines in this aircraft are the same as the Vulcans but with afterburners.. Thats why the Vulcan is so, erm, nimble and NOISY! lol Good POV you've got, Duxfords Concorde is impossible to get a full shot of.. Brooklands you can.. But you can inside and it is still partly operational.. Rob

Concorde was a very beautiful plane. What a pity it doesn't fly anymore ! It made too much noise when it took off
