Description
An explore and tweak of my previous mandelbulber. Enjoyed this and had a few light bulb going on moments!
At least until I got to lighting then the fuse went!
Not going to say how long I spent trying to get the lighting how I wanted, gave up in end and stuck with this .
Hope you enjoy :)

Is this Mandelbulber or Mandelbulb3D? They are to completely different Programs one is Bulber and the other MB3D similar results but different in every aspect of implementation and operation. This looks more like MB3D but not sure...the trick for lighting and gradients in MB3d is saving up Light/Gradients from all images tried as Light Files so you can scroll through quickly to find a good starting point to work with, over the years I have maybe 2,000 Light Files saved gives a good start every time but you are right. I spend more time getting the lights/gradients right than any other aspect but it's time well spent. Peace PS Also if you run an inside+outside Render those Flet Cut looking areas will fill in with detail

Hi Lenord, It is Mandelbulb3D I'm using. Spent bit of timing last night trying to see if i could bring in gradients from Ultra Fractal, have a fair few favourites saved up over the years. But not sure it can be done. But yes I do need to increase my colouring files somehow, And thanks for the inside outside render tip will give that a go next time. I had noticed it, but didn't even give it a thought when it came to getting the image ready. Thank you for the tips much appreciated
