The Oregano plants in our garden are very popular among the local flying insects population, so expect more images to come 8=) I was sweating like a horse when i took this pic but i think it paid off ... Have a nice weekend! Bodo

looks like a leaf, great capture of it, a few years ago i saw some shots of what's called glass butterflies, their wings looked like glass..

Excellent close up with wonderful detail. Nice back lighting on the wings. Sometimes I envy these guys with their built in straws. And I have never seen an oregano plant before, just the dried herb.

Die Blüte scheint ein Magnet für Insekten zu sein. Der Schmetterling ist ja perfekt getarnt, mit diesen Flügeln sieht er immer aus wie ein Teil einer Pflanze. Erstaunlich, was die Natur so alles hervorbringt. Ein super Foto!
