Description

"As the final heights came into view, the Companions girded themselves for the last stage in their search for the hidden secrets of the Elvenwalle, in particular First Landing." Jamie's Chronicle of Elfenland, Billberry Press, Altagora. Crafted in classic Terragen. I was gifted a slight breather this Sunday morning, before heading out to church. Taking time to think, take stock and welcoming the Good News, before sharing with one's community in our journey together. God bless you all with awe, wonder, and peaceful joy.

Thanks for your kind comments. To your enquiry, I will say that I am well enough, Rita, my good friend. It doesn't feel like that it is six months since my dear wife, Helen, passed away. Everyday is a challenge and a temptation to take things easier .. ;o) As you may know, November is the month during which we remember our dead in the Catholic Church. We take time to pray for their souls and make peace for our own, before we prepare to welcome His coming at Christmas ( My favourite time of year - after Easter, of course ).... Now is the time when I do quite a bit of calligraphy and illumination ( " You should have been a monk in the Middle Ages, John", said one of our parishioners ), although I notice, at least in the UK, colouring in books for adults is the 'in thing'. Maybe that is why I have been so relaxed, and yet focussed for all of these years.

I pray for you and your loved ones, Rita. and, if you permit me, I will have a mass said for your special intentions. May our Heavenly Father, Almighty, Ever loving God bless and keep you. .. and yes, It was a wee bit sunny here in Glasgow, but cold enough for snow .. ;o)
