Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Beautiful! I love how you have the warmth of the image shift to cooler in the background and how the lines of your image draw the eye into the picture.

Brilliant! It is extremely attractive and a great advert too for the beauty of where you live. A great postcard!

I like your colors, more than soft pastels - impressive - wonderful done landscape!

Beautifiul, soft and vivid landscape, with beautiful contrasts, Helle. Esp because soft pastels can make contrasts not-so-easy. (I did a ton of drawings with soft pastels, and almost threw them out the window.) Your greens are so lush---some of them yellow-tinged, some bright green, some rust-tinged, etc. The trees are like green cotton candy. (You have cotton candy in Denmark, right?) The whites on the houses are beautifully bold, the water has an almost oil paint feel, you have flowing lines throughout, and a beautiful soft and multi-hued sky---actually quite a dramatic sky. You did contrast beautifully in this piece, mixed with such vivid strong hues; and the two little splotches of growths in the lower corners are sweet 'ornaments' to frame the bottom. A beautiful sweeping and intimate landscape, and I love how the pastels bleed over into the frame. (Or "dust" over into it: Maybe bleed is the wrong word for a dry medium.) It's so great to see you painting and drawing again. I know it's been a long haul---an artistic dry spell---but you shine whenever you return. I hope you can do this for a long time to come. This is beautiful.

Nothing like pouring your soul into a piece of art that is ready for it! Lovely work, and very well done!

Oh darn, anahata.c/Mark took the words right out of my mouth and stole my thunder! Now I have to think up a new comment…..so here goes: Great colors and textural patterns in this pretty pastel interpretation of the lovely Danish countryside, Helle. It looks like it's about to rain in this one. So, not as all encompassing as Mark's comment, but I tried. Also, it rained here yesterday and today. Not enough to break the drought though.

Helle, you certainly have outdone yourself this time. This is without a doubt one of the most beautiful pastels I've seen in a long time.

This is terrific! You've really got this pastel thing down pat, and your result is wonderful. I get such a sense of peace and calm looking at this picture. I bet the people who live there would be excited to see this! :)
