A first try at using Daz3D Studio's Iray renderer Front.figure is Genesis 2 female with a shader that is supposed to be lray enhanced. In the Back M3. Stool and instruments are freebies, clothing from different Daz3D sets + My shirt by Evil Innoncence I am a bit disappointed about the quality. A "normal" render of this scene took about 4 minutes The lray render took over two hours: that is to say M3, instruments background and G2F clothing finished in those first five minutes, B2F's face, hair and neck took more than two hours to finish, and are far from perfect. Maybe I did not do the render settings correct or the shader used (free form ShareCG) wasn't what it claimed to be. This is not good enough to require a more than two hours render. lray is new, so it will take some time to get used to. Any suggestions on how to enhance existing textures and shaders to give better results?
