Description
Hi everyone.
I'm back for a few days, and started commenting today. Unfortunately, I can only leave a couple of comments in each of your galleries right now...but I'll leave more next month. (I've done half of you today, and I'll finish the rest tomorrow and Tuesday.)
Had all kinds of medical tests (ugh). Heart problems, some heavy allergies (the kind that result in speeding heart, heavy congestion, etc), and some other things. All part of getting older. I'm ok, but it's been tiring as all getout...
Also, I've been trying to buy a condominium for myself. And there've been some bad health problems among family and close friends...so I've been away more than I ever wanted. I hope that changes soon.
But I haven't missed an image from any of you! I hope to show you how much I've loved them, in the coming days...
* * *
In the meantime, 2 images I made last week.
This one's an explosion of silk fabrics! (Or whatever.)
Thanks for viewing, and I hope you're all doing well.
A wonderful week to you all,
Mark
This is very large...much better zoomed.

Wow! This is spectacular, Mark. It could just as easily be an explosion in a flower factory, because I see pistils and stamens flying around in there too, along with miles of fragrant petals. A really beautiful work, and it's good to have you back, even if it is only briefly. Hope all goes well with all your issues, and your friends and family too...and give a holler if there's anything that can be done to help you out!

Beautiful pink luminescence. If it's an explosion, it's one of those slow motion, elegant explosions. Sorry to hear about your health issues, Mark & I hope they all get resolved soon. Do you know why getting older is like frying bacon in the nude? It's because you know it's going to hurt - you just don't know where...

woo-hoo, this is wonderful!!! it looks soft and smooth and... yes, like silk! I hope you feel better, soon.

A very colourful explosion at that! Hope your health issues get resolved in a positive way

What Denise said (I'm relatively aware of your situation), plus a loverly representation of what indeed look like fragments of the soft magenta-colored silk exploding in slow motion, along with a dark menacing section in the center coming our way. Marvelous work, my friend. And the best to you considering your circumstances.

I agree with Mike from Faevalley - smile - Hope you feel better soon dear Mark, take care and stay safe!

Denise sees what I see, a dream of luscious petals. Absolutely gorgeous. I hope your health issues melt away, Mark, as the professionals hopefully resolve your problems. Getting older is sometimes infuriating, and inevitably tiring.

OH MY! Why do I always have to read other membersĀ“ comments, then I get totally empty in my head for any comments of my own. But I totally agree with Denise on this gorgeous piece of prototype for a wonderful silk fabrik :-) Yes, it is so very nice to see you in here again, dear Mark. Only, I am sad you have health Issues and allergy problems. I hope it will be better over time, also for the family health.

The image is very charming and gives me a feeling of beauty, freshness and lightness above all thanks to the light that you have been able to create. Sorry to hear of the problems you have, and especially for those related to health that I hope to overcome soon. Your comments are always very attentive to the work and smart and is always a great pleasure to read.

Mark, thank you so much for sharing this very lovely and creative image with us. You certainly did brighten my morning with this lovely presentation. I'm deeply troubled to hear about some of the health concerns you're having to deal with now and I will be sure and keep you in my prayers as well as your family members.

I can imagine bolts of silk exploding. It would be a soft, muted, muffled sound, and lengths of silk would drift and flow and billow, coming to rest in a glorious, sensuous heap of color. Comparisons to a flower are inevitable ... your composition is so much like a floral portrait, with the center in just the right spot, and the petals fanning out. This is the Big Bang of the Birth of Silk. Glorious!!

So many of your images remind me of soft, silky fabric. If I could have a couple of yards of this, I'd make the loveliest scary ever----gorgeous!!

I've always thought silk was like the petals of a flower, delicate and soft, with a natural flow. Such a lovely and vibrant artwork, full of the joy of summer blooms. I could wrap myself in this design, as it would make a lovely silk scarf, brightening my mood. I hope working on this gave you some welcome time away from health issues. I will, as always, keep you in my healing thoughts, Mark.

Delightful forms and hues. I understand about the health issues. It can be hard to cope with other things when you are not doing well health-wise. I hope you find a great place :)
