Very good capture Great set of photos thanks for sharing

I love this one (#4) the best. It works as a piece of abstract art as well as it does as a photo of a crab demonstrating its ability to blend into its environment. Excellent!

All four of these shots are terrific, and I'm glad you didn't cull any of them out. Such fascinating creatures, and so different from our crabs up here with their smooth, single-color shells. This one is my favorite, which won't surprise you at all! It's got a wonderfully abstract feel to it, as if Picasso got ahold of a picture of a crab and improved upon the composition. The straight-down angle of your shot, combined with the bubbles, that give this such a marvelous vibe. I love this!

I'm with the abstract group, this works so well compositionally! Beautiful!

ditto Tara, though I'd add a few other artists to the list. This actually feels like a 3D assemblage---I mean actual 3D, not software 3D: Like an artwork made of resins, beads, fabric, glass, jewels, etc. It's tremendous. You have peacock-like forms here. And the sands/rock around it are glowing and alive. I like the bokeh part too---the far left---it looks like rusted metal or (better) paint oozing its way to the center. ("Catch the crabs, folks, that paint will cover them over by sundown...") (Like "the blob" from the old film.) There's also a topographical feel to this, with a black river on top, with an island in the center. And limestone formations on the top shore. This is terrific. When I skip around, I try not to do 2 pieces from the same series---so I can get to several of your series---but this cried out. Wonderful work...and I see a connection with your Bryce pieces too.
