Description


Another of South Florida's amazing cloud formations. Facing west at sunset, this cloud appears to be spawning a mushroom. Actually, I think it is a shelf cloud, precursor to thunderstorm activity. The Weather Channel likes to call these "shelfies". :)

Yeah, that's one pretty sick looking cloud formation, reminds me of a Portuguese Man of War jellyfish. Neat play on the title as well...a double whammy ! ~Cheers~
