Description

This is a tall lakeside plant growing in only one spot in a quiet woodland hideaway. It was taken with a 200mm + x2 convertor from some way off! I was most pleased with the background, woodland the other side off the lake. It made such a dreamy backdrop! So I'm sure Andrea will iD it if anyone can?

This is the Water Figwort, Scrophularia auriculata, and what a FAB pic! I have a Common Figwort growing in my rather dry 'bog', each year infested with bonking weevils!

Thank you so much for the ID and comment! I couldn't find it in my little wild flower book. I liked the comment on bonking weevils, they do like peaty soil don't they!
