Description

Loons are an endangered species here in NH. This pair have stayed on the lake. We were afraid they might leave as we have a family of Bald Eagles on the lake also. Thanks to all for all.

You'd have to be a loon to stay with some eagles hunting the area.

I can still hear the call of loons in my mind. Haunting but beautiful sound. I'm sorry they have reached endangered status. Beautiful photo of the family.
