A painting I've been working on for a while now. It's changed shape a lot since the first sketches were done (I think I changed the composition and background about a dozen times). The actual file is pretty large, 16"x20" (4800x6000 px), which let me play with a lot of details (maybe a bit more than I should have since there's a decent amount that are likely to not be noticeable when the print is hanging on a wall, but hopefully they'll add some extra depth that might not have been there otherwise). I experimented quite a bit with the brush engine in Krita to make brushes behave in a way like I actually paint. It was a great deal of work, but also a lot of fun and a really good learning experience. Done entirely in Krita (which if you haven't taken a look at, you should: https://krita.org/).
