Description

Time. This one's an attempt at a "Vanitas" theme -- the briefness and superficial vanity of earthly life. A theme popular in 17th century Dutch still life painting. Thanks for looking. Carrara, with Photoshop and Painter postwork.

yea, i'll echo the comment above. as a kid, i lived not far from the National Art Gallery in DC, so my mum and i oft went there, and all of your offerings today are taking me back to walking through those rooms, feeling curious and excited and awed... such delicious flavours...
