I'm always late with my comments, but I'm glad I got here before the weekend was over. Schônes Wochenende to you too! (I studied Deutsch for 4 years...though I only remember a little now...nur ein bischen...) Another wonderful musical upload from you. I love the expression on the pianist's face---that's Nadia? She's playing Mozart, but she has a very modern expression, and her glasses are just great. A hip Mozartian. (I assume they're playing Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, from your title.) Wonderful portrait of a pianist. I also like that she's turned to us---the way jazz pianists turned to their audiences from time to time. The bird is terrific, like an observer to it all. (Or maybe the bird is singing.) And the two ballet dancers are wonderful too---perfect for the delicate lines of Mozart. Beautiful parasol---it's very hard to find parasols like that today. And you have a big open hall, with high windows looking out over dusk (maybe one should call it "Abenddâmmerungmusik") with its beautiful hues. And that portrait of Mozart---I saw it on Deviantart, and it's a really fine portrait, looking very serious. Formally, you have great angles, and the piano juts out of the "box," pushing its way right into our space. The dancers are lined-up with the lines of the windows, the piano, etc. (One of the dancer's sleeves is perfectly lined-up with the rod that holds up the piano-top.) And you used very clean and fine lighting as well. This captures the spirit of the music, and your choice of people and objects is just right. (I love that bird looking at the pianist.) More magical work from you. Hope your weekend is great too Ute!
