Description

Walking along a trail at Point Lobos, I noticed a small group of trees that were covered in different varieties of lichen. The rust color was the one that caught my eye first, but the grayish blue color stood out in contrast to it & the sunlight gave it a distinctive yellow glow. The colors may look exaggerated - & they are - but what I try to do with my photos is not to be perfectly, technically accurate (not that I even believe there is such a thing), but to reproduce the intensity of how I perceive things...
