Fantastic shot of a marvelous landscape I would love to live in the countryside as far away from any cities as possible and as a keen astronomer well away from any lights.

Superb! This shot looks like some english paintings of the XIXth century. I am living in the "deep" french countryside, and I don't understand why people...don't understand this choice!

Also ich ziehe das Leben auf dem Land jederzeit dem Stadtleben vor und verstehe dich voll und ganz. Zum Glück ist Heidelberg keine Großstadt und ich wohne am Stadtrand, da gibt es eine Menge Felder und noch mehr Wald. Innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß den Wald zu erreichen ist nach meiner Meinung schon ein Privileg. Eine wunderschöne Szene hast du hier fotografiert, perfekter Bildaufbau und fantastisches Licht. :o)
