You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Congratulations, dear Gitti with this, only right decision, but also so difficult sometimes to decide that. But the gain is large. You escaped and have regained freedom, independence conquered by people who abuse you, right? I'm so happy for you, and for your feelings of: I'm back !!! Valuable girlfriend, your image splashed from my screen, it is purely and looks like victory. Lots of hugs for just 'hey, you', that special and brave woman!!! Love from the other side of the world to you. :)

well, ditto everyone above. And "hear, hear" to Mies---I second her comment. I'm so glad you got rid of a job with a boss who drove you crazy! I've had bosses like that, and I fully understand how it's like working with a boulder on your shoulders---it never goes away, never. I'm glad you got rid of her for once and for all. I hope you're ok with the loss of income, and I wish you well in finding something else, if that's your desire. You know, when one is doing what they love---ie, you doing window design and many other types of art---it's criminal that it's hampered by one lone jerk. We used to call them "the gatekeepers" of the arts---they're the ones who treat people badly and make art so uncomfortable. I hope your big creative mind and heart will find many other outlets. Glad you got rid of that crazy boss. As Hamlet said, "Fie on it! Ah fie!" This is a real Brigitte image. It's got the graphic feel you often get, it's not just an onion skin---in fact, I could've guessed about 10 other things before I read your description. It could be an exploding star, a pumpkin on a bad hair day, a weather balloon after a huge meal, a huge sofa cushion---the possibilities are endless. I love the blown-out saturated red, and the wild yellows. Given the background, it could be a super nova exploding in space. You do really bold things with images, and I love what you did with this---this is an onion skin declaring "I'm OUTA here!" Great to see you back anytime, anyway, Brigitte. I wish you everything good and inspired; and if that boss is reading this: "It's your loss, lady!" Wonderful upload, and great to see you here!

Knock, knock. Who's there? No one because I AM OUTTA HERE! Or as some East Germans once sang as they emerged from a tunnel under the Wall, "Freiheit! Freiheit! Oh how well I know the feeling. Good for you, Gitte, for having the courage to make the leap. In Hollywood there are two classes of people. There is the talent and there are the managers. Because those who can, do. Those who can't, manage. Oh, and the image is very nice. In fact it is superb.

Well, now that you have stood up tall and walked away, head held high I suspect, think Helen Reddy and start humming "I am woman" and roar. Congratulations for setting yourself free and push that onion peel right down the garbage disposal!

I understand! Best wishes. Thanks for your comment and info on bluebird. I am rising above. Almost a year and a half now since Bill died.

Great symbolism in your illustration. Love the color and then all the thought you've put behind it. Bravo for you. You are free and that petty tyrant is still stuck with himself/herself.
