Description

Great Mullien or Verbascum thapsus is widespread and fairly common in Britain. It is the food of the Mullien Moth larva.

Your close ups are almost always pin sharp but it is the details that lift them above the ordinary. The fuzz on the leaves, the pollen everywhere. There is even a spider's thread with pollen on it. To find and appreciate these and capture them so well is the real art.
