oh this is wonderful. It's a very serious image, and yet it has a wonderful glow and uplift to it. The yellows and reds in the background are magical, the deep black of Geronimo's silhouette is a wonderful contrast, and your softened background makes Geronimo stand out even more. And of course, you've portrayed Geronimo in a battle cry, with his beautiful feathers standing up, and his spear/arrow high in the air. (And his horse ready to leap.)

You use the colors of a deep Southwest American sunset; and the image has a folk-tale magic to it. (His actual name, as you may know, was something like "Goyathlay," and it meant---strangely enough---"He who yawns". I never found why he got that name! But in America, "Geronimo" became a battle cry. It's tragic that the people who used that cry had to destroy Geronimo in the process. He was a freedom-fighter, and a hero.) Beautifully done.

Lovely scene. Evokes a feeling of both heroism and pathos, the way the hero holds up his weapon and the horse rears up against the backdrop of the sunset. Geronimo would be proud!
