Description
Still at the Hampton Beach 15th annual Sand Sculpture competition. The title of this sculpture is Together in the Game of Fate and the judges awarded David Andrews 5th place for this sculpture. David is the current United States National Snow Sculpting Champion. This is only his second year sculpting with sand. I left some of the beach in the background. This photo will zoom.
To answer a question from yesterdays posting, it is only sand and water. The water is the only bonding agent and there are no glue products involved. Hard to believe but if you can see in the lower right, a small section has fallen off. David carved a gumball machine on the back side of this sculpture. I do not know why, maybe his trademark.
