Description
In relation to the wheel of life, there are those who are born with silver spoons. They ride the wheel of life with good fortune—rich, fat, happy, self-entitled—living off the unrelenting labor of others. The workers struggle and suffer, denied a living wage, malnourished in body and soul, some so weakened that they slip and fall, and the wheel of life crushes them.

philosophically: riches... measured in silver or gold? or measured by something else entirely... reality: i live in area where there is quite a bit of poverty, have seen the haggard women doing their shopping, the men with calloused hands, the children without shoes... all older it seems than they are, or should be... that endless weariness, that endless wariness... your images are also so incredibly thought-provoking... and i must say that there've been times where i've felt like that crushed woman at several jobs i've had throughout my life - inconsequential, disposable, unrecognised for who i truly am...

Some of us feel the weight of the wheel, and it always seems that only a few can reach the top. it is the ones that bare the burden that make it go round. great image
