Instead of running away from me through the grass, this jackrabbit decided the dirt trail right in front of me was the best route for his retreat. Best detail of his curly/wavy hair in zoom Thanks very much for your views and comments.

Wow, no bunny rabbit hereā€¦slim body, long legs, super ears...this one is built for speed! Fine capture, Maria, in this pic of the hare, seemingly startled by what looks like your camera flash, retreating to lairs unknown. I was able only to access the photo in zoom, the default image was nothing but a question mark.
