I've always had a perverse liking for the "fanzine" cover art of the pulp sci-fi era, such as appeared on magazines like Planet Stories, Astounding, Thrilling Wonder Stories, and so on. Much of it was childishly ridiculous and silly but fun to look at, and the artists seemed to have had fun producing it. So I had a go at doing something "pulpy". If there's a story behind the image, I don't know what it is - some space heroine rescuing some captured girl from some big spaceship for some important reason or something :) Backdrop modelled and rendered in Bryce, figures in Poser, some postwork in Photoshop.
