Description

A member of the thistle family. This plant has reached about 8 feet tall (2.4 M) and the bees love it. You may just be able to see a bumble on it in this pic.

Here in the Colonies we have an ego-maniac running for president (yeah, I know, aren't they all). Donald Trump turns out to be a particularly odious fellow but he has spawned 'Trump Your Cat' where cat owners take the fur their darlings shed and place it on their heads to look like The Donald. https://www.google.com/search?q=trump+your+cat&biw=1684&bih=1163&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0CB0QsARqFQoTCNz8-5eAhMcCFdidiAodP0UBGA&dpr=0.95 This is all by way of explanation for why my first thought when seeing this was 'Trump Your Plant'. What a fantastic POV, Jeff, this just looks glorious to me, and I think it is a kind of Artichoke, right? The big leaf over it, and the background view, makes it so beautifully!!!
